a partially pied female Blackbird was a new visitor to Woodlands gardens.

9^th

House Sparrow were heard at roost both prior to dawn and after dusk.

12^th

a Water Rail showed exceptionally well to one as it emerged from thick riverside vegetation.

Waxwing were reported via a council worker, working on Overton Hill, and a contact in Old Basing!
